small brain = small talk

here's an example of the small talk i have to endure everyday:

AD= My Boss [art director]
DR= Company Driver

scene: DR walks through office obviously in a hurry

AD: Hey (DR), going on lots of trips?

DR pauses and looks at AD

DR: huh?

AD: going on lots of trips?

DR: Trips... well, last month i went to...(trails off) You mean vacation?

AD: Like trips, don't you go lots of places and stuff?

DR: (confused) you mean... driving around the city- my job?

AD: yeah

DR: uh, yeah i guess

AD: Coolio!

just for the record- not a big deal, but i think someone should know: My "Creative Director" just instructed me to scan a low quality bubble-jet print out of a low res jpg from a poorly shot digital image. This scan is to be edited, printed (again) and presented to my company's CEO.
